Initial Situation
To make fire investigations more efficient and data-driven, a nationwide database application was to be developed. This should allow for comprehensive documentation of fire incidents and the collection of various data on damage events – always considering data protection.
Goals
- Development of a central database for nationwide documentation of fire incidents.
- Collection and storage of detailed data on damage events.
- Creation of damage statistics to better assess future risks and danger potentials.
- Implementation of complex filter functions (ignition material, fire progression, etc.) for customized evaluations.
- Ensuring the recording of over 10,000 fire incidents for comprehensive data analysis.
Solution
The developed database application provides a robust platform for documenting and analyzing fire incidents. By collecting extensive data on damage events, detailed damage statistics can be created. The application allows for creating specific evaluations based on complex filter functions to better assess future risks and danger potentials.
In addition, the application was subjected to an external penetration test to ensure the security and protection of the recorded data. The selection of the external auditor was made by the client.
